I love Fall, but I never look forward to it. There’s something about that transition from Summer to Fall that makes me sad. Which is mostly due to the fear of losing my tan and reverting back to your average white girl.
But my entire outlook changed when HBO announced today that they would be dedicating an entire spin-off to the ultimate betch, Ja’mie King. Appropriately titled Ja’mie: Private School Girl – airing on November 24th. If you aren’t familiar with the sass that is Ja’mie King, she was introduced as one of the main characters in Chris Lilley’s genius show, Summer Heights High. A narrative of the life of three individuals in an Australian private school all played by comedian Chris Lilley himself.
I feel like I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life. If you haven’t watched Summer Heights High, you are truly missing out on something special.
